This month I stumbled upon a universal human truth: no matter how you slice it, moving is a lot of work. I have recently acquired a new residence, and I am happy to report that I am deeply content to be calling this space my home. I thought I would share a couple of pictures so that you can peak into my humble abode.

One of the biggest blessings of this new space is how generously other people helped me furnish it! The couch was given to me by my Aunt Joy last year, the end table was made by my dad years ago and the lamp was the garage-sale find of the summer by my mom. I purchased the lamp shade and pillows to add a little Erica-flare) |

Welcome to my dinning room! My sister Angela generously gave me her table 10 months before she was planning on liquidating it. I am thrilled to have such a cozy space to feed people. |

Although the sight of scarves in this hot weather might make you shudder, these fixtures came with the condo, so I had no other choice but to decide how I was going to best utilize them for fashion, function and overall esthetics. Needless to say, the choice was pretty easy :) | | |

This picture is included only to show you how adorable my bathroom rugs are. I was able to purchase new rugs when I acquired a vacuum far below what I had budgeted for, and therefore had some extra money to put towards other areas of the condo. Target has the best stuff! |

So, there you have it, a look inside my new pad. Tonight I am thankful for air-conditioning, ice water, a summer job and friendly neighbors. What are you thankful for?
