It may sound insignificant but I am no longer terrified of driving in snow! If you knew how paralyzed I was by even the thought of winter driving only a year ago then you would be amazed by this statement.
There have only been a few days this winter when it has snowed enough to impact traffic (because it's usually too cold to snow. . . ) so I have paid special attention to what driving in snow is actually like instead of being overly anxious and tense. The truth of the matter is that rush hour lasts a few extra hours but other than moving slowly and being extra cautious, winter driving is nothing to fret about. I know that I have come a long ways in my willingness to tackle snow covered roads because tonight after class I offered to drive a friend home from class even though it was snowing out. A year ago, I would have never put myself in a position to be in my car longer than possible.
Jesus is faithful in all things, including breaking down unnecessary driving fears :)
